Also will be sold at said auction her cargo, consisting of i,Bi7 Puncheons, i77 barreis and 198 halfparrels of Barba- dos Syrup, more or less, as far as necessary to satisfy the-creditors. “The Vessel and her cargo can be inspetted-by prospective purchasers ap 10 the day of the sale. The Gray Ghost serial was concluded at the theatre last night, and parts of the new serial started. So far as seen the Carter {'ase would seem to be an in- teresting and exciting film. It is requested to state that a meeting of the St. Croix Civic Improvement Society will be held this evening at 8 o’clock in the east room on the first floor of the Lutherar Parsonage. A large attend- ance is invited. Pending positive information concern- ing the Parima which is understood to be detained in the Islands, the mail for New York, advertised to be closed at 4 p. m. today, will be held open until to- morrow, same hour. Those who wanted to buy copies of yesterday’'s Avis and failed to secure same, are informed that the article which appeared in that number will be reprinted in the Mail Edition of tomor-
