Mr. Webster was positively identified by the victim, as the suspect in this case. On April 30, 2023, Port Authority officers were dispatched to Lindberg Bay Beach, where they spoke with the male victim. According to the victim, who was working as the bartender at Aqua Park, he was in the process of serving a line of patrons, when Mr. Webster skipped the line. The victim said that he simply asked Mr. Webster to return to the back of the line, as it was unfair to the other patrons, which caused Mr. Webster to become irate. The victim recalled that Mr. Webster began yelling and swearing at him, before retrieving a handgun from his waistband, chambering a round in the presence of several individuals. Mr. Webster then entered the business, attacked the victim with a sledgehammer, and struck the victim to the face with a closed fist, before fleeing the area. Surveillance footage of this incident supported the victim’s account.
