EBlected were: 2nd Member for Chris- tiansted Town (Cansgata), Srd Member for Christiansted Country District (Robt, W. Skeoch with 12 votes respectvely, 2nd Member for Frederiksted Town (Merwin) with 9 votes and Ith Member for Frederiksted Country Distriet (Flem- ing) with 8 votes. Ist Member for Frederiksted Town {Couiter), 3rd Member for Frederiksted Country District (M. M. Skeoch) with 4 votes regpeciively, Ist Member for Frod- eriksted Country District (Andersen) 2 voyr:s and Srd Member for Christiansted Tr'wn (Alexander) and 3rd Appointed "{fember (Armstrong) one vote respec- tively. The Chairman remarked: Regarding the meeting in St. Thomas our Assistant took some stenograpbic notes and has made a report. 1 will lay the report on ihe tatie roday and hereafter any mem- per can see it in the Council Office. 2nd Member for Christiansted Town (Canegaia): lln connection with that [ would like to know whether the expenses of the members who went to St. Thomas are to be paid out of the Council Main- tenance”? The Chairman remarked: In reply to the Honorable 2nd Member for Christian- sted Town 1 have to state that it was thoroughly understeod that the expenses of the members who went to St. Thomas will be paid out of the Council Mdinten- ance. The Goverrment Secretary told me that arrangements were made with the proprietor of the Grand Hotel and America Hotel for accommoda- tion for the Members. All those who paid their bill in St, Thomas will pleas® send them in to the Assistant who will make out a voucher for tim amount and I will approve the bill te be paid out of Maintenance, 4th Apuwointed Member (lod]weed)
