Joseph Stadium Project: Derek Gabriel – Commissioner, Department of Public Works  I spoke with Mr. Gabriel directly at 340-344-6287 (personal cell).  He asked that we direct future communications to his work cell: 340-642-1300.  Mr. Gabriel stated that he will be off island for the entire month of June. He also shared: o He will attempt to provide a written testimony, though he’s unsure if he can commit. o He expressed that a letter alone may not be sufficient, as senators are likely to ask probing questions. o He does not feel comfortable sending a representative in his place, as others are not as fully informed. Hon. Lisa Alejandro – Commissioner, Property & Procurement  A follow-up email was sent to Carole this morning, requesting confirmation of Commissioner Alejandro’s attendance and submission of written testimony. Mr. John Wessel, Ms. Vickie Wessel, and Mr. Tim Dempsey – GEC, LLC / Coastal Systems USVI  I called the main office at 340-778-0200 and spoke with Amiyra, the secretary.  I requested to leave a message for Mr. Tim Dempsey, but Amiyra stated she was not familiar with him.  I asked who currently serves as Director of Operations, but she indicated she did not know. However, she agreed to relay the message to Mr. Wessel.  A follow-up email was also sent this morning to Mr. and Ms. Wessel at jwessel@gecusvi.com, requesting confirmation of attendance and submission of written testimony. 2 Thank you!
