Oversight Hearing on February 20, 2026 Dear Commissioner Roberts, On behalf of the Committee on Culture, Youth, Aging, Sports, and Parks, and in my capacity as Chairman, I write to formally request your testimony at the Committee’s upcoming oversight hearing scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, to be held at the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas. This hearing will reconvene to examine accountability, financial oversight, operational readiness, and completion timelines associated with two major public investments: the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack and the Paul E. Joseph Stadium. As Commissioner of the Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation, your participation is requested for both Block I and Block II of the agenda, given your department’s central role in each project. All testimony and supporting documentation should be transmitted through the Office of the Chair no later than Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
