Learn why this is important Good day Mrs. Laplace, my name is Vincent Heyliger and a home owner in the Beeston Hill community. I’m a born native of St. Croix and I’m in opposition to the zoning change request. The over development of this community with a shopping center base on the previous attempt lends me believe the owner/investor is wrapping the same pig in a new blanket. If the intention is to build houses why request a business zoning change. We have Golden Rock shopping center in the same vicinity and Plaza East a five minutes drive away. The traffic in this area is heavy during the morning hours between 7:30am and 8:30am, lunch time between 11:30am and 1:30pm, and in evening between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. To add more cars and pedestrian traffic will add to the bottleneck that’s already in the area. …

Just a reminder Catherine’s Rest, Herman Hill, Contentment Road and Orange Grove Road all presently intersects in this area. Over development of any one area is not good for the community and that’s the reason it is critical for the Land and Water use Commission to predetermine how development should go.
