ACTNO. 8414 BILL NO. 33-0439 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act establishing an amnesty period until June 30, 2021, for the waiver of penalties for payment of outstanding income taxes and the waiver of interest and penalties for payment of outstanding gross receipt taxes and real property taxes for all tax years and to require the Director of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue to publish information on this amnesty ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Not later than seven days after the effective date of this act, the Director of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue (the Bureau) shall establish an amnesty to expire on June 30, 2021, for the waiver for all tax years: (1) _ penalties on payment of outstanding income taxes; and (2) penalties and interest on payment of outstanding gross receipt taxes.
