Please disregard that amount. The Contractor is responsible for its own amount, see the revised Bid Schedule. Why are you giving us “Mobilization?” A.3. Please disregard that amount. The Contractor is responsible for its own amount, see the revised Bid Schedule. Where do we put the two Allowances?” A.4.__ Allowance No. 1 Door Hardware goes in the Section 08710 of the Bid Schedule. Should Allowance No. 1 be for $450 each? A.5. Yes, $450.00 for each door. Drawings don’t call for any work on the exterior wood porch. It needs work plus bird spikes. A.6. The Scope Of Work for the porch is as follows: The existing wood deck shall be striped, sanded and repainted. The existing roof sheathing and rafters shall be repainted. The existing wrought-iron rail and metal post shall be repainted. The Contractor shall provide bird spikes on top of the wood beam to prohibit the nesting of birds. AWN Drawing 2A1.2A shows doors 200A and 200B as pair of 2ft wide doors. The A4.0A Schedule shows a single 4 ft wide door. Which is correct? A.7. Door Nos. 200A and 200B shall be single-impact, resistant storefront doors — 48-inches wide by 80-inches high. Is the Fire Alarm system connected to the Governor’s Office? Q.9. Q.10. Q.11. Q.12. Q.13. Q.14. A.8 Yes. There are lines run from the First Floor under the Phase | Construction period. Drawing A4.0A, Room Finish Schedule has the Base Finish in the Floor Finish column so that means that the Floor Finish is not specified. A.9. See the revised Sheet A4.0A, dated February 23, 2016. Where is the Bid item Floor Leveling and Floor Patching on the drawings? A.10. The Bid Item for floor leveling and concrete patching is as a square-footage Allowance. This task is not specifically indicated on the plans, but usually occurs in renovation. This item addresses an estimated amount that may come up during the construction process, but has no specific location. Does new WI gate match existing as per drawings? A.11. Yes. The existing window and door openings require removing lots of rotten wood and plaster and repairing or replacing the wood lintel beam and replastering before the windows can be installed. Do we put that cost in the window and door cost? A.12. That cost is part of your window installation or door installation. It should be added to the appropriate item. I count 13 shutters to repair on the drawings but the Bid Sheet only shows 10. A.13. See the revised Bid Schedule. Drawing 3A1.0 has a “Match Line” that needs another drawing but one is not provided to show the rest of the roof. A.14. See Sheet 3A1.0 included in this Addendum. The Scope Of Work for the replacement of the metal roofing is only limited to the portion as shown on Sheet 3A1.0. This portion is limited to the main building and inclusive of the Receptionist area only. 3 | Addendum No.1 for FOO! ; :) Phase II: Office Renovation for Government House, 194-20 Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin tslands Q.15. Please confirm the Bid Sheet quantity of 2,210 sf “Gypsum Ceiling and Framing? A.15. Please refer to the revised Bid Schedule. Q.16. Where do we put miscellaneous items that are not on the Bid Sheet such as WI at window? A.16. Please refer to the revised Bid Schedule. A “Miscellaneous Section” has been added to include all items not specified, or identified on the previous Bid Schedule, but are included in the Scope Of Work, as per the Contract Documents. Q.17. Where to put on Bid Sheet the new stairs at the bathrooms? A.17. Please refer to the Bid Schedule Item No. 02070 — Site Stair Restoration and Realignment. Q.18. Where to put on Bid Sheet the wood floor sanding and stain? A.18. Please refer to the revised Bid Schedule: A “Line Item” has been added. Q.19. Where to put on Bid Sheet the ceiling access hatches that are not on the drawings? A.19. Please refer to the revised Bid Schedule for Line Item No. 09255 — Gypsum Ceiling and Framing. SECTION 2: NOTIFICATION - 1. The successful Bidder will be responsible for the filing process, including payment, to obtain a Building Permit for the project. A complete set of Construction Documents will be provided to the successful Bidder via a DVD from the Architect-of-Record, Jaredian Design Group. 2. Contractor will install occupancy sensors in all offices and restrooms to operate the light fixtures. 3.
