The | Imperia. Parliament will alsn contol the | Royal ivish Constabulary of Dublin and the Met-opolitan Police Force for three | years, if a United Parianent is not orvenized by that time. Other powers reserved to the Imperial Parlianient embrace the crown, peace and war, foreign affirs. the army and navy, coinage, | defense. trade outside Ireland, the post- | office, navization including merchant sbipping, wireless and cables, the ccliection of income &nd excess profit taxes, | customs and exeise. Th: two pariiaments would be given the immediate right o coiiec: certain taxes, including death, stamp taxes, entertainment laXes, - ceaces, fees and such other ofta similar | nature which the Legislature might de- | vise. luis stipulated that Irelaad must | contribute for two years to the support | of the Empire on the basis of 1919-1920, | which figures about eighteer million | pounds annually. Os these eighteen | millions, the north of Ireiand will :)ntribute forty-two per cent and the sou:h of Ireland fifty-e.ght per cent. A joint Exchequar Board will be created to determine th2 taxable capacity of Ireland in relation to the balance of the United Kingdom and decide whit amount ireland should contribute after 'the two years period.
