THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner AAF Justice Complex, 5400 Veterans Drive St. Thomas, 00802 * (340) 774-2211 Administrative Services Building 45 Mars Hill, Frederiksted St. Croix, 00840 * (340) 778-2211 www.vipd.vi.gov VIPD RELEASE- 100622-275 For Immediate Media Distribution October 6, 2022 A Bar Fight and Robbery Leads to the Arrests of 3 Women Christiansted, St. Croix - On Friday, November 12, 2021, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a robbery that occurred at the Coco’s Bar & Restaurant in Christiansted, St. Croix. Investigation into the complaint revealed that Ms. Jazmin Linares, Ms. Jahmisha Bethelmie and Ms. Jahlisha Caul assaulted the victim at Coco’s Bar & Restaurant and took property belonging to the victim during the assault. Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau in the St. Croix district investigated this matter and obtained an arrest warrant that was signed on September 9, 2022, by the Honorable Magistrate Judge Ernest Morris Jr., of the Superior Court. …

On October 6, 2022, members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Marine Unit were able to arrest the three women. Jazmin Linares 40 years old was charged with Robbery 2nd, Assault 1st, Assault 3rd and Aggravated Assault and Battery, where bail was set at $75,000.00. Ms. Jahmisha Bethelmie and Ms. Jahlisha Caul were both charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery, both ladies bails were set $1000.00. All three women were placed under arrest, booked, and remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending their Advice of Rights Hearing set for October 7, 2022, at the Superior Court. ###
