Chicago, Sept.lßth.—An extensivedaily coast mail service was begun today when i lanes left five eities for ports across the continent. One plane will leave each morning from New York with mail for San Francisco.one trom San Francisco forNew York, one from Cheyenne, Wyoming to San Francisco, one trom Salt Lake City, to San Franciscv, one from Chieago to San Francisco every day except Sunday, and one from Chicago to New York every day except Monday. " Hamilton, Bermuda, Sept. 13th. ~The Canada West India Trade agreement which has been under consideration by the House of Assembly now in session, has been referred to a Special Commis- sion of the House for report. The Cham- ber off Commerce does not favour the terms of the agreement, especially the tariff clauses, but public opinion general- ly- is however about equally divided on the question which is now in abeyance, pending the presentation of the Commit- tee repoyt. ' o Aix Les Raines, Sept. 13th. —The joint official declaration issued this evening by Premiers Millerand and Giolitti at the conclusion of the two days meeting of the Premiers says: ‘‘The Italian and French Premiers have exchanged their views in a most confident and amicable spirit, concerning the European situa- tion as well as the political and economic relations between France and Italy. They are happy to note the general com munity of interests of the two coun- tries which can easily be reconciled.
