The wind was highest on Sunday night blowing 50 miles an hour. The storm did a lot of damage at Mayaguez on Sunday night, heavy rain causing serions damage. The *schooner Baker broke away and has not been heard from since. Several other boats sank. London, Sept 18th. —Sugar in stock on the tenth inst. was 104,000 tons. Last year 135,000 tons. $ il. 8. MARINES QUEL!. MUTINY ON SHIP Washington, Aug. 19. - The steamship Allianca of the Panama Railway Co,, is enroute to New York in charge of United States marines hecause of a mutiny on board. None of the details of the mutiny is known here, it is stated. but it is believ - ed that they are krown at the com- pany’s offices in New York The following statement of the facts as known here was given oot this after- noon by the Navy Departmenpr. “Steamer Allianca FPanama Railway C'o. reported mutiny on board. Master requested guard. T'wo officers and twenty macines placed on board, pro ceed 1o New York and then to join Com necticut at Annapolis.”’ One of the officials here s4id that the Annapoiis station.intercepted the mess- age of the master of the ship acted at once.
