St. CROIX STA PION: Dublin, Jan. 25th.—Civilian attacks upon the police and military in various sections of the ecountry continued on Sunday. Early today there was a simui- taneous attack by 100 civilians on the police and military barracks which ad- join each other in the town of Bancon, County Cork. There was severe fight- ing lor nearlv an hour whieh resulted in the attacking party being beaten off. The ero ~n forces suffered no casualties, but one civilian is known to have been killed. There was a fierce batrle on Sun- day when alar e body of armed men attacked the Glenboater police barracks near Clonmel. The civiliaps were beaten off. No casualties were reported as a result of the fighting.
