ACT NO. 6899 BILL NO. 26-0312 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2006 An Act providing an appropriation for operating expenses of the Territorial Public Detender during the Fiscal Yeai Cctuver 1, 2006, io Sepiember 30, 2607, and for other purposes --0-- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands in the fiscal year beginning October 1; 2006, and ending September 30, 2007, to the Territorial Public Defender for salaries and operating expenses. SECTION 2. The appropriation contained in this Act is not subject to title 2 VIC. §28 (b). Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 20, 2006.
