THOMAS ) ) ORDER WHEREAS, on April 16, 2015, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “Commission” or “PSC”) received a Petition from Caribbean Cinemas of St. Thomas, Inc. (hereinafter “Caribbean Cinemas”) seeking the right to connect the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s (hereinafter “Authority” or “WAPA”) electrical grid as a producer of electrical energy as well as being a WAPA customer; and WHEREAS, on June 29, 2015, the Authority filed their response to Caribbean Cinemas Petition; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015, the Commission received a written correspondence from Caribbean Cinemas’ attorney, J. GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Public Services Commission IN RE: ) ) Docket No. 646 THE PETITION OF CARIBBEAN CINEMAS -— _ ) Order No. 3/2016 ST. THOMAS ) ) ORDER WHEREAS, on April 16, 2015, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “Commission” or “PSC”) received a Petition from Caribbean Cinemas of St. Thomas, Inc. (hereinafter “Caribbean Cinemas”) seeking the right to connect the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s (hereinafter “Authority” or “WAPA”) electrical grid as a producer of electrical energy as well as being a WAPA customer; and WHEREAS, on June 29, 2015, the Authority filed their response to Caribbean Cinemas Petition; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015, the Commission received a written correspondence from Caribbean Cinemas’ attorney, J. H. Isherwood, Esq., indicating his unavailability to attend the PSC’s meeting scheduled for June 30, 2015; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015, the Commission ordered that the matter before the Commission be continued until the next scheduled PSC meeting, in order to continue discussions with the petitioner, DPNR and WAPA and seek resolution to the matter. WHEREAS, on September 22, 2015, the Commission met in regular session at both its offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to CONTINUE the matter before the Commission until the next scheduled PSC meeting; and So Ordered.
