ACTIN. 7926 BILL NO. 31-0439 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act providing appropriations for operating expenses of the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands, the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, the Judicial Council and the Office of the Territorial Public Defender ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) The sum of $6,660,661 is appropriated from the General Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017, to the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands for operating expenses. (b) The Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands may expend in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017, any balances from prior year encumbrances for any purposes the Supreme Court determines to be critical fiscal year priorities. SECTION 2. (a) The sum of $28,586,120 is appropriated from the General Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017, to the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands for operating expenses. …
