ACT NO.65 26 BILL NO. 24-0252 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2002 To name the Hotel Training Unit at the Charlotte Amalie High School in honor of Mr. Ecedro A. Wesselhoft ---0--- WHEREAS, Mr. Ecedro A. Wesselhofi, a native Virgin Islander, was bom on St. Thomas Virgin Islands on March 23, 1939; and WHEREAS, Mr. Wesselhoft’s Jove for the kitchen began at the Besabe Bakery, which was located in the Subbase area where The Natural Food Grocery and Deli is currently located; and WHEREAS, he worked at the Basabe Bakery for a period of twenty years as a baker; and WHEREAS, in 1986, a position became available at the Charlotte Amalie High School for a Vocational Hote] Training Instructor; and WHEREAS, Mr.Wesselhoft, was hired and occupied that position for the past sixteen years; and WHEREAS, Mr. Wesselhofi has made many contributions to the students and to the Department of Education; and WHEREAS, Mr. WesseJhoft on many occasions has used his own persona! …
