ACTNO. 7565 BILL NO. 30-0272 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act amending title 18 Virgin Islands Code, chapters 2 and 17, to change the date of primary election to be in compliance with the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act and for other related purposes ---0)--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 18 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 2 is amended in section 21, subsection (d), paragraph (2) by striking “30 nor more than 45” and inserting “60”. SECTION 2. Title 18 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 17 is amended in the following instances: (a) Section 350 is amended by striking the words, “first Monday in July” and replacing them with “fourth Wednesday in May”; (b) Section 351 is amended by striking the words, “immediately after the first Monday in July” and replacing them with “the fourth Friday in May”; (c) Section 410, subsection (a), paragraph (2) is amended by striking “after noon on the last Tuesday in June” and inserting “second Tuesday in May by 6 p.m.”; and (d) Section 491, subsection (b) is amended by …
