QUESTION & ANSWER(s): 1. What is the current staff make up at GVI that works directly in the financial reporting and compliance related to grants? Response: Each GVI agency has a federal grants unit staffed to perform duties associated with federal grants management and processing. The staff size varies by agency and by the grant. The Office of Management and Budget has a compliance unit known as the Federal Grants Management Unit staffed with a Deputy Director, two Associate Directors and five Senior Grant Analysts. 2. The RFP makes reference to 1,900 co-operative agreements to review related to the federal programs. Are they basically structured in the same format? Response: The federal program grants are tailored to a specific criteria as outlined in the grant application. As such, the format will not be the same structure. 3. What is the expected start date for the project? Response: 15 days after execution of the contract 4. As the scope of the engagement is for the 9/30/17 Schedule of Federal Awards and there is a 9 month due date of filing with the federal clearing house, what is the target filing date? Response: September 30, 2018 5. Has GVI received an extension? Response: Yes
