ACT NO.65 11 BILL NO. 24-0229 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2002 To honor and commend the late Earl Victor Haynes, Sr. and to rename the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital Pharmacy “The Ear] Victor Haynes, Sr. Pharmacy” ---0--- WHEREAS, Ear] Victor Haynes, Sr., in 1948, after completing his high school education at Snow Hill Institute in Alabama, enro}led at the University of Nebraska’s Schoo] of Pharmacy. He later returned to his home state, Louisiana, where he successfully completed his course requirements and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1953; and WHEREAS, after accepting a job offer from Zeathea Armstrong, Chief Pharmacist at the Virgin Islands Apothecary, Inc., Haynes relocated to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in 1955 to assume his pharmacist duties at the Apothecary; and WHEREAS, Earl] Victor Haynes, Sr. …
