FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Jan. 29, 2020 Census 2020 Job Fair at Tutu Park Mall on Saturday The St. Thomas/St. John office of Census 2020 U.S. Virgin Islands will sponsor a Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, in Center Court at Tutu Park Mall on St. Thomas. The Job Fair will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. More than 500 temporary, part-time census takers and crew leaders are needed to ensure that everyone who lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands is counted. Census taker positions pay $16.51 per hour and crew leaders earn $18.76 per hour. Applicants are required to have access to reliable transportation and anyone over the age of 18 can apply. Men must have registered with the Selective Service. Residents of St. John and Water Island are urged to apply. Applications can be filled out in the mall on Saturday and interviews will take place at that time.
