Lawaetz Legislative Conference Room on St. Croix to receive testimony and updates regarding the progress and challenges associated with the upcoming 175 th Anniversary of the Emancipation Celebration. We will receive information from representatives of the 175 th Emancipation Commemoration Committee, local government agencies, committees, and commissions with jurisdiction and roles over the 175 th Emancipation Celebration, and other organizations and stakeholders relevant to this historic event.   BLOCK I:                                                                                                                       10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Updates and status of preparations for the 175 th Emancipation Commemoration, including reporting from the sub-committees, timelines, tasks, roles & responsibilities and any challenges that the committee is facing.
