Revised 12/2023 Procedure for all Zoning Map Amendment and Planned Area Development Proposals (Process takes 3+ months) Please note Planned Area Development approvals are only valid for two years from date of approval by the Legislature. If construction does not proceed, approval shall be void and entire matter resubmitted for reconsideration unless revised plan/schedule submitted to Planning Office. VIC, T. 29, Ch. 3, Section 232 (b). Once file deemed complete, scheduling of DPNR Public Hearing Submission of package and recommendation to Legislature Legislative Public Hearing held (Committee of the Whole) Determination of completeness and sufficiency of package Submission of Pre-Application Meeting request (CCZP) CCZP Pre-Application Meeting Legislative Bill Session held. If bill approved, goes to Governor for approval or veto. If approved by Governor, receives Act number If bill vetoed, goes back to Legislature for overriding of veto or disapproval. …

X X X X X X This proposal seeks a zoning change to permit the establishment of a commercial trucking operation, including the construction of state-of-the-art equipment storage facilities. The proposed zoning amendment will facilitate the operation of a modern trucking business designed to support existing and future development and commercial activities on St. John. The structure will be designed in compliance with all applicable setback requirements and compatibility standards for properties adjacent to residential areas. Water needs for the facility will be met through on-site storage using durable, high-capacity plastic water tanks. These tanks will be filled as needed by water delivery services and will provide a reliable and sustainable source of non-potable and potable water for the project’s operational needs.
