ACTNO. 7143 BILL NO. 28-0090 TWENTY-EIGHT LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act amending title 24 Virgin Islands Code, section 282 extending Workers Compensation coverage to Water Island Search and Rescue, Inc., Community Emergency Response Teams and Radio Volunteers, the Medical Reserve Corps, and V.I. Licensed EMT’s who provide assistance in times of emergency; amending title 24 V.I.C., §265 relating to the Government Insurance Fund and amending title 27 Virgin Islands Code, section 42 relating to coverage of the “Good Samaritan” immunity non-profit groups who may receive reimbursement of operating expenses by grant or donation ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1.
