By law, the 34th Legislature has five days to consider Governor Bryan’s request, or the extension automatically goes into effect for an additional 30 days if the Senate takes no action on the Governor’s proposed legislation. The Bryan-Roach Administration is committed to transparency, stabilizing the economy, restoring trust in the government and ensuring the disaster recovery is completed as quickly as possible.
