ACENO. 6899 BILL NO. 26-0336 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2006 An Act extending the period that judges of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands may continue in office after the expiration of their terms ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the 120-day limitation in title 4 Virgin Islands Code, section 72 (a), judges of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands may not remain in office for more than 180 days after the expiration of their terms. (b) Subsection (a) of this section expires April 30, 2007. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on October 5, 2006.
