ACT NO.6498 BILL NO. 24-0091 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2002 To amend Title 11A, Articles 1, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Virgin Islands Code; to add a new Article 10; to amend Title 13, sections 104 and 105, Virgin Islands Code; and for other related purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 11A, Article 1 Virgin Islands Code is amended by striking the provisions therein in their entirety and inserting new provisions to read as follows: “Article 1. General Provisions PART I GENERAL PROVISIONS §1-101. SHORT TITLES. (a) This title may be cited as the Uniform Commercial Code. (b) This article may be cited as Uniform Commercial Code- General Provisions. §1-102. Scope of article. This article applies to a transaction to the extent that it is governed by another article of the Uniform Commercial Code. §1-103.
