ACI NO. 7126 BILL NO. 28-0148 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act authorizing the use of monies from the Education Initiative Fund for the Department of Education to compensate E-Rate contractors for services rendered, to implement the Department of Education’s Textbook Adoption Program and to repair public schools throughout the Territory ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the limitations on the use of funds prescribed in title 33 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 111, section 3093, the sum of $12,488, 211 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, from the Education Initiative Fund to the Department of Education for the purposes and in the amounts specified in subsections (a) through (c). …
