ALTNO.8 87 8 BILL NO. 35-0272 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act amending title 20 Virgin Islands Code, part II, chapter 38, section 425(a) relating to an increase in the motor vehicle rental surcharge ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 20 Virgin Islands Code, part II, chapter 38, section 425 is amended as follows: (a) in subsection (a) by striking “$3.75” wherever it appears and inserting “$5.00”; and (b) _ in subsection (d) by inserting “, $1.25 into the “General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands” after the first instance of “Code”.
