AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0213
s/AWCJR AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0213 Offered by Senator Hubert L. Frederick Bill No. 36-0213 is amended by striking section 4 in its entirety and inserting the following new section 4: “SECTION 4. The public roadway commonly known as Contentment Road on the island of St. Croix is re-named the “Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Lane” in honor of Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen’s long-standing legislative legacy and service. The Contentment Road is particularly fitting to be renamed for Senator Hansen since it was along this road that the Legislature of the Virgin Islands was previously located and where Senator Hansen performed much of her extensive service. The Department of Public Works shall, within 90 days of the enactment of this act, erect at each end of Contentment Road, a sign bearing the inscription “Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Lane”.” Amendment No. 36-690/January 29, 2026/GC
