As no con- tradiction to this statement has been forthcoming from the proprietor of the plant, and as no subsequent notice has been given that the engine had arrived or that the plant was again prepared to deliver current to .houses, stores. ete., everybody is astonished at being called up- on to pay bills for electric current as from the 16th.
