ACT NO.6360 BILL NO 24- 0292 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2002 To approve the projects to be funded with a $1,950,000 Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and funds to be reprogrammed from 2001, 1997, 1996 and 1995 to amend title 3, chapter 25 Virgin Islands Code to establish the Health Insurance Special Project Fund and for other purposes BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has invited the Government of the Virgin Islands to apply for $1,960,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); and WHEREAS, it is necessary to reprogram a total of $286,125.05 from the 2001, 1997, 1996 and 1996 Community Development Block Grants, which were previously approved by the U.S. …
