THOMAS, USVI – On September 4 at roughly 5:30 p.m., police arrested Kwanza George, age 32 of Paul M. Pearson Gardens, charging him with 3rd Degree Assault, Domestic Violence. The victim reported that on September 1, George assaulted her, causing injuries. George is alleged to have bound the victim, limiting her movement. Bail was not offered to George, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws. He was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing. # # #
