ACTNO. 8366 BILL NO. 33-0405 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act providing an appropriation for the salaries and expenses of The University of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $25,225,458 or as much as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands, to be transferred to the university of the Virgin Islands fund for expenditure by the University of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021, for the purposes hereinafter named in this section in accordance with the provisions of title 17, chapters 33 and 35, Virgin Islands Code: (a) For salaries, including pay for regular and temporary employees; salary increases, employer's FICA and retirement contributions; overtime compensation of hourly rated employees; books, magazines, teaching materials and audio-visual supplies; equipment and supplies for offices, classrooms, laboratories, library, student …
