Potter and Angel L. Bolques, Jr. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Title 5 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 305, section 3561, subsection (a), is 2 amended by inserting “, enforcement officers of the Government Employees Retirement 3 System of the Virgin Islands” after “Governor Juan F. Luis and Roy L. Schneider Hospitals”. 4 BILL SUMMARY 5 This bill adds enforcement officers of the Government Employees Retirement System to 6 the category of persons designated as peace officers in the Virgin Islands. 7 BR23-0669/February 7, 2024/PFA 8
