Pentheny Governmen' has resoived in virtue cos .Aart. 28 of the Colonial Law that the GENERAL ELECTION of members to the Cruneil in lieu of the said gentlemen shall take place 1n the Court House of Christiznsted Jurisdietion on FRIDAY e 6TH MAY a. c. The poiling wil eommence at 1 o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Ari. 30 of the Coionial Law will close at 4 o’clock p. m. at the earliest. At the election no one can be consider- ed unless he has announced himself as a candidate or has been so announced by one of the electors oft e electoral dis- trict. The anuouncement of candidature shall either be made in writing or by personal aitendance of the announcer before he electoral board. The written anacuncement, signed by the announcer (arnouncers) must the sent to the under signed chairman at my official office, not later than 4 o’clock p. m. on the 2nd May a. ¢. and for receiving announcements made personally the Electoral Board will meet at the place where the election is to be held, at 3 o’clock p. m, on Tuesday the 3rd May a. c. i'he Blectoral Board for the Town and Suburbs of Christiansted, St. Croix, April 21st 1921. Publicati übiication T is hereby made known, rhat whereas ! the following Members of the Colonial Council, elected by the Country juris- diction of Christiansted, will have to re- tire from the Council in acrordance with Art. 17 of the Colonial Law viz: 3rd Member Mr. Robt. W. Skeoch 4th 5 Mr. Thos. Ramsay Government has resolved in virtue of Art. 28 *of* the Colonial Law that the GENERAL ELECIION of members to the Council in lieu cf the said gentlemen shall take place in ihe Court House of Christiansted Jurisdietion on SATUR- DAY THE 7tH MAY a. c.; and further: election of a Member to serve the un- expired term of ond Member Mr., W. H. Mac Kay whose resignation has been accepted by the Colonial Council. ’ The polling will commence at I o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Art. 30 of the Colonial Law will close at 4 o’clork p. m. at the earliest.
