The poiling wil eommence at 1 o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Ari. 30 of the Coionial Law will close at 4 o’clock p. m. at the earliest. At the election no one can be consider- ed unless he has announced himself as a candidate or has been so announced by one of the electors oft e electoral dis- trict. The anuouncement of candidature shall either be made in writing or by personal aitendance of the announcer before he electoral board. W. Skeoch 4th 5 Mr. Thos. Ramsay Government has resolved in virtue of Art. 28 *of* the Colonial Law that the GENERAL ELECIION of members to the Council in lieu cf the said gentlemen shall take place in ihe Court House of Christiansted Jurisdietion on SATUR- DAY THE 7tH MAY a. c.; and further: election of a Member to serve the un- expired term of ond Member Mr., W. H. Mac Kay whose resignation has been accepted by the Colonial Council. ’ The polling will commence at I o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Art. 30 of the Colonial Law will close at 4 o’clork p. m. at the earliest.
