OB p BILL NO. 28-0069 GOVERNOR TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act to amend 20 V.LC., chapter 32 relating to motor vehicle transport within the territory poe |e Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION |. Title 20 V.LC., chapter 32 is amended in the fulowing instances: by adding a new section “225a” to read as follows: § 22a. Intra-territurial motor vehicle transport (a) The owner of a motor vehicle titled in the Virgin Islands who seeks to transport such vehicle must present a valid registration to the shipping carrier as a condition precedent lo transport. This shall be the only requirement for the transport of a motor vehicle. For purposes of this section the term “transport” or “transported” means the shipping or shipment of any motor vehicle between the different islands within the Virgin Islands. …
