THE USVI’S UNITED STATES & FOREIGN REGIONS SELECTED FOOD IMPORTS REVIEW Data in this report are collected by the Census Bureau and is compiled by the Bureau of Economic Research 2021 JANUARY TO DECEMBER The “Selected Food Import Review” annual review is a data report on often imported food items from the United States and Foreign countries to the U.S. Virgin Islands. The table and graphs in this report display the increases and decreases of commonly imported food products to the U.S. Virgin Islands. IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS TO THE USVI: JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2021 In 2021, the value of the USVI’s food imports increased by $35 million to $154.7 million from $119.7 million in 2020. This value represents a 29.2% increase over 2020 and a 25.5% increase over the 2019 pre-pandemic food imports (see Figure 1). …
