Preliminary investigation revealed that an elderly female was crossing the road and was struck a taxi van was traveling westward on Moravian Highway in the right lane in the area of Nisky Center. As a result of the incident, she sustained life threatening injuries and expired at the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital. She was a 73-year-old female. The female was identified by next of kin as 73-year-old Pauline Sharry. Sharry sold newspapers in that location for a many of years. …
