AT Na 8456 BILL NO. 34-0042 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2021 An Act authorizing the members of the Board of Medical Examiners to serve temporarily as de facto board members of boards established under 3 V.1.C. 415 to establish a quorum to conduct the business of the respective board ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of (lie Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Licensed sitting members of the Board of Medical Examiners appointed under the requirements in 3 V.I.C. §415 (b)(1)(A) may serve temporarily as de facto board members of any of the hoards established under 3 VIC. §415 if those boards do not have enough members to establish a quorum. (b) The de facto board established in subsection (a) may he used to establish a quorum and carry out the duties of the boards established under 3 V.l.C. § 415, including issuing licenses. SECTION 2. This act expires 120 days after the date of enactment. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on May 4, 2021. …
