Joseph Chair, Committee on Rules and Judiciary Legislature of the Virgin Islands Capitol Building Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 00802 Re: Notice of Absence and Request to be Excused – February 26, 2026 Hearing Dear Chairwoman Joseph, I write to respectfully inform you that I will not be present at today’s meeting of the Committee on Rules and Judiciary scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas. Due to an important and unavoidable matter requiring my immediate attention, I am unable to attend. Accordingly, I respectfully request to be excused from today’s hearing. Please know that this absence is not taken lightly, as I fully recognize the significance of the nominations and legislative measures before the Committee.
