Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas. Due to an important and unavoidable matter requiring my immediate attention, I am unable to attend. Accordingly, I respectfully request to be excused from today’s hearing. Please know that this absence is not taken lightly, as I fully recognize the significance of the nominations and legislative measures before the Committee. The work of the Committee on Rules and Judiciary is critical to the integrity, efficiency, and accountability of our legislative process and the governance of the Virgin Islands. …
