ACT NO.6492 BILL NO. 24-0192 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To amend title 27, Virgin Islands Code, to provide for the licensure of naturopathic physicians, and for other related purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 27, is amended by adding a new chapter 4 to read as follows: “Chapter 4, Naturopathic Physician Licensing §190. General Provisions (a) Statement of Intent; purpose (1) The Legislature finds that a significant number of United States Virgin Islands residents chooses naturopathic medicine for their health care needs and declares that naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care profession that affects the public health, safety and welfare, and provides for freedom of choice in health care. …
