LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT an Act amending the Virgin Islands Code, title 17, chapter 34 pertaining to the Research and Technology Park, enacted by the Thirtieth Legislature at its regular session held on June 18 and 19, 2014, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on July 11, 2014, was enacted due to the Governor’s failure to return this Bill within the time prescribed in section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. $1575 (d), notwithstanding the Governor’s veto and has become law.
