Reporting Suspected Chikungunya Cases to USVI Department of Health If you see a patient with the following symptoms, please report it to the USVI DOH: • Acute onset of fever >38°C or >101°F AND • Severe arthralgia or arthritis not explained by another medical condition How to report suspected chikungunya cases to the USVI DOH: 1) Fill out the “USVI Dengue and Chikungunya Report Form.” The yellow highlighted fields are mandatory, but please do your best to fill out all fields. We may switch to DHL in the future. Place the THIRD copy of the form into the suspected case’s chart.
