VIDHS offices in the district of St. Thomas/St. John will be closed for regular business on this day. All emergency services and meal deliveries will continue to operate as scheduled and will be communicated directly with our constituents. VIDHS offices on St. Croix will also remain open and operate at regular business hours. A similar event will take place for VIDHS staff on St. Croix on Thursday, August 25, 2022. …

VIDHS offices in the district of St. Thomas/St. John will be closed for regular business on this day. VIDHS offices on St. Croix will also remain open and operate at regular business hours. A similar event will take place for VIDHS staff on St. Croix on Thursday, August 25, 2022. In a statement, Commissioner Kimberley Causey-Gomez asks the public to join her in recognizing the incredible work accomplished by VIDHS throughout the year, “The employees of VI Department of Human Services have served on the frontlines and have gone above and beyond everyday throughout this pandemic to make sure our VI community receives daily access to critical resources.” said Causey-Gomez. “We are looking forward to celebrating the hard-working men and women of our department for their dedicated professionalism and their service to the vulnerable populations of our territory.” Commissioner Causey Gomez concluded. The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience. The St. Thomas and St. John offices will revert back to regular business hours on Monday, August 15, 2022.
