February 6 U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — Before traveling to Washington, D.C., for a series of meetings and to attend the National Governors Association Winter Meeting, Governor Albert Bryan Jr. signed into law a bill from the 35 th Legislature’s first legislative session, on January 23. Bill No. 35-0003 appropriates $2.2 million for funds for the adoption of various portions of the Virgin Islands Agricultural Plan, submitted by the Agricultural Plan Task Force on December 29, 2021, as the official Agricultural Plan for the Territory. Governor Bryan also acknowledged Resolution 1901 (Bill No. 35-0002) adopting the rules of the 35 th Legislature. The Bryan-Roach Administration is investing in the Territory’s people, infrastructure and future through transparency, stabilizing the economy, restoring trust in the government and ensuring that recovery projects are completed as quickly as possible.
