Office of the Commissioner June 27, 2023 PUBLIC NOTICE Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. Croix Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 5:30 pm. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Zoom and in-person at UVI’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix Rooms NWW 102/103. The agenda is as follows: Decision Meeting Major CZM Permit Application, CZX-11-18(L), has been submitted by VIGL Operations, LLC (VIGL). VIGL proposes to modify Major CZM Permit CZX-11-18(L) by reducing the scope for the reconstruction and improvements to the Randall “Doc” James Racetrack Project. The modified scope will reduce the size of the grandstanding building, paddock, stalls, stables and parking area. PLEASE NOTE - This modification request was amended based on comments received during the public hearing held on May 18, 2023. The project site is located at Section 5 Estate Manning Bay, St. Croix, Virgin Islands. …
