THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner AAF Justice Complex, 5400 Veterans Drive St. Thomas, 00802 * (340) 774-2211 Administrative Services Building 45 Mars Hill, Frederiksted St. Croix, 00840 * (340) 778-2211 www.vipd.vi.gov VIPD RELEASE- 112622-326 For Immediate Media Distribution November 26, 2022 CIB Investigating Fatal Shooting of a 21-Year-Old Man in Profit Hills Housing St. Croix, USVI - On Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 9:31 a.m., 911 Emergency Call Center received several calls from concerned citizens in the Profit Hills Housing Community in Estate Profit, reporting shots fired and a man down. Officers responded and discovered a male with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by the medical examiner. The deceased was identified by next of kin as Joshua Lee 21-years-old. CIB is asking anyone with information on this Homicide or any other, to call 911, CIB Tipline at (340) 778-4950, (340) 712-6092 or Crime Stoppers VI at 1(800) 222-TIPS. ###
