ACTNQ. 8597 BILL NO. 34-0258 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2022 An Act ratifying the Governor’s approval of Minor Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZX- 15-21 (L&W) issued to The Nature Conservancy ---0--- WHEREAS, on January 5, 2022, the Department of Planning and Natural Resources issued Minor Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZX- 15-21 (L&W) for a term of 20 years to The Nature Conservancy for the installation of two 520 feet long 4-inch 00 HDPE pipes seaward of plot No. 52 Estate Little Princess, Christiansted St. Croix, Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, the Governor approved the issuance of Minor Coastal Zone Permit No. CZX-15-21 (L&W) on March 15, 2022; and WHEREAS, title 12 Virgin Islands Code, section 911(e) provides Ihat the Governors approval of any coastal ione permit or lease must be ratilicd by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of this act to rati& the Governor’s Approval of Minor Coastal Zone Management Permit No. …
