The grants are available to licensed, regulated, or registered child care providers in the Territory that obtained their certification no later than March 11, 2021. Grant award amounts are determined by the child care providers' presented, verified need. These grants are made available to assist with wages and benefits, insurance, rent, mortgage, utilities, cleaning and sanitizing, professional development related to health and safety, mental health services and other operational expenses necessary to remain open and operating. At the time of application, providers must have met the OCCRS health and safety requirements including trainings and comprehensive criminal background checks.
